Ah…NFL conference championship weekend. Hopefully you are well stocked on beer and snacks for the two big games tomorrow.

Once again, Guy Caves is gonna put some thoughts on the games out there for the world to read! These picks are based on the current numbers from Sportsbook.com.

AFC Championship - Patriots vs. Chargers at 3:05 PM in Foxboro. The Patriots are a 14 point favorite and the over is 46.5. Will the Patriots continue that perfect season quest and become the first NFL team to ever win 18 games� Guy Caves is thinking the Patriots will win the game, but the pick is the Chargers with the points. The over line has been dropping - don’t really know why as you would expect a high scoring game. Guy Caves is taking the OVER.

NFC Championship - Packers vs. Giants at 6:35 PM on the Frozen Tundra. 2 degrees or so at gametime - YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING??!! The Packers are 7.5 points faves and the over is 41 points. So the grand old man Brett Favre gets another shot at going to the Super Bowl. THAT totally would be the feel-good football story of the year (if not all time). But the G Men are a great road team so Guy Caves is taking the Giants with the points and the OVER (despite the damn ridiculous Artic temps).

So there you have it - picking both road dogs with the points and the OVER in both games.
