Ok, Super Bowl Sunday is almost here. And EVERY self respecting guy around is planning his menu and getting stocked up for the big game.

What’s on the Guy Caves slate?

• Beer (lots of beer!) – and totally some Red Stripe!
• Grilled hot wings – these are the bomb, grilled up with some Frank’s Red Hot and butter…double-dipped in the spicy goodness.
• Hamburger and cheese dip and some Tostito’s for dipping
• Something sweet (cuz you gotta have something sweet)
• Little hot dogs cooked with red pepper
• Chips and pretzels
• Cheese Whiz – how in the hell can you do the Super Bowl without Cheese Whiz???

Still in the planning phase with more menu items to add, but that’s a pretty good start.  Some more football game eating goodness will be added.

But it will all be ready by 6 PM and settle down and watch the game!

Bet you never thought of turkeys as manly, did you?  We’re talking about cooking those damn birds here!  Mental Floss has a nice writeup on truly manly ways to prepare that bird for the big Thanksgiving day feast.

The Guy Caves fave?  Bacon wrapped turkey, of course!

Stopped by Dyer’s yesterday. Dyer’s is a pretty damn famous hamburger joint which was relocated to Beale some years ago.

A good, old-fashioned greasy as hell burger – mmmm! Definitely a guy’s kind of meal.

Yeah, the Guy Caves crew engaged in a bit of fine dining tonight at Hooter’s – the ultimate guy’s restaurant. A nice blonde Hooter’s girls waiting the table – cold beer, good food, fine scenery.

According to this article in Wired, the latest craze in oh-so crazy Japan is something known as a “fetish cafe”. Sounds cool, right? Hell yes!

Named after a manga comic book and a short-lived ’90s TV show about six Japanese “office ladies,” Shomuni features an all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink menu served by 15 costumed waitresses who start off dressed like receptionists and end up handcuffing patrons to their tables in sexy police uniforms.
