Ok, Super Bowl Sunday is almost here. And EVERY self respecting guy around is planning his menu and getting stocked up for the big game.

What’s on the Guy Caves slate?

• Beer (lots of beer!) - and totally some Red Stripe!
• Grilled hot wings - these are the bomb, grilled up with some Frank’s Red Hot and butter…double-dipped in the spicy goodness.
• Hamburger and cheese dip and some Tostito’s for dipping
• Something sweet (cuz you gotta have something sweet)
• Little hot dogs cooked with red pepper
• Chips and pretzels
• Cheese Whiz - how in the hell can you do the Super Bowl without Cheese Whiz???

Still in the planning phase with more menu items to add, but that’s a pretty good start.  Some more football game eating goodness will be added.

But it will all be ready by 6 PM and settle down and watch the game!

Hell, if you were David Beckham and your wife looked like Victoria Beckham and she posed nude for her tshirt for her charity…well damn, you’d wear that sucker proudly too wouldn’t you? Don’t you just love how the shirt designers oh so strategically positioned the letter Y?

Well you know Guy Caves loves us some beer and some getting our drink on.

Drink your way to health!! Yep, you read it right - drinking combined with a little exercise is good for you!! Can I get a BIG HELL YEAH!! Seems some of those ever wacky scientists over in Denmark have conducted a study which proves what we’ve been telling our women for hundreds of years!!

“If you don’t want to exercise too much,” asks Dr. Morten Gronbaek, epidemiologist with Denmark’s National Institute of Public Health, “can you trade it for one to two drinks per day and be fine?” A study Gronbaek and colleagues just published in the European Heart Journal suggests the answer just may be yes. That finding, not surprisingly, has proved to be a crowd-pleaser.

So now you can say (with the full support of scientific evidence to back you up) “Baby, I’m gonna go to the bar for my workout”

Hell, Guy Caves was ALL OVER the way Jessica Simpson cost Tony Romo and his Dallas Cowboys a football game.

And now the PTI show on ESPN is currently reporting the rumor that ol’ Tony Romo has DUMPED Jessica.

PLUS, get this, that he blames the playoff loss to the New York Football Giants on pretty little Jessica.  Say it ain’t so Tony!

Poor Jessica Simpson - career in the tank and no more press box pink jersey wearing escapades!

What a weekend!! Both games were pretty good - the Packers - Giants artic fest was outstanding!! And Guy Caves went 3 for 4 on the picks - DAMN OUTSTANDING!

The bad pick was the OVER on the Pats vs. Chargers.� But San Diego had the opportunities - 4 trips to the Red Zone - 4 field goals. Make some touchdowns guys!!

Super Bowl picks will be up soon - but based on the early numbers take the underdog G-Men and the massive points they’ll be getting!

Ah…NFL conference championship weekend. Hopefully you are well stocked on beer and snacks for the two big games tomorrow.

Once again, Guy Caves is gonna put some thoughts on the games out there for the world to read! These picks are based on the current numbers from Sportsbook.com.

AFC Championship - Patriots vs. Chargers at 3:05 PM in Foxboro. The Patriots are a 14 point favorite and the over is 46.5. Will the Patriots continue that perfect season quest and become the first NFL team to ever win 18 games� Guy Caves is thinking the Patriots will win the game, but the pick is the Chargers with the points. The over line has been dropping - don’t really know why as you would expect a high scoring game. Guy Caves is taking the OVER.

NFC Championship - Packers vs. Giants at 6:35 PM on the Frozen Tundra. 2 degrees or so at gametime - YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING??!! The Packers are 7.5 points faves and the over is 41 points. So the grand old man Brett Favre gets another shot at going to the Super Bowl. THAT totally would be the feel-good football story of the year (if not all time). But the G Men are a great road team so Guy Caves is taking the Giants with the points and the OVER (despite the damn ridiculous Artic temps).

So there you have it - picking both road dogs with the points and the OVER in both games.

Now, gotta run and stock up on beer and nuts for the games!
